Student Government Organization

 

President:

The President of SGO serves as the spokesperson for the student body of Choir Academy of Harlem.  He/She delegates and attends all meetings of the SGO cabinet.  This person also has the authority to make decisions deemed necessary in an emergency situation. The President also reviews forms and documents handled by the Secretary and Treasurer.

 

Vice President:

The Vice President of SGO also attends all meeting, and aides in delegating meetings conducted by the SGO.  He and she assume the duties of the SGO President in the President’s absence.  This official assist the President in fulfilling the duties deemed necessary to have an effective and successful SGO.

 

Treasurer:

The Treasurer attends all meetings, and maintains a monetary inventory system for SGO.  He/She is responsible for maintaining records of monies that has been collected from individuals within the SGO.  The Treasurer provides budgetary reports.  This person is also responsible for fulfilling the duties deemed necessary, at the request of the SGO President.

 

Secretary:

The secretary attends all meetings and record the minutes.  He/she is responsible for making any records available at the President’s discretion.  This person also fulfills the duties deemed necessary, at the request of the President.
